About

  • When at its full capacity Tringford Reservoir is 26 acres in size with gin clear water that is fed by a strong running chalk stream and underwater springs.

  • Tringford Reservoir is apart of the Tring Reservoir Complex and therefore water levels can fluctuate throughout the year as the reservoirs are used to accommodate the level of the local Canal.

  • When water levels are at their peak a maximum depth of the reservoir can reach 15’ with the bulk of the depths of the reservoir averaging 4’-10’. 

  • Tringford Reservoir hosts the only trout fishery on the Tring Reservoirs Complex and offers Fly Fishing for trout from designated areas on the bank or from one of our several row boats.

  • TTF is stocked regularly throughout the season with rainbows & brown trout. 

  • Fishing on Tringford Reservoir is available by day or season tickets.

  • Day tickets must be booked in advance by telephoning Bob Menzies, the Head Bailiff, on 0780 280 5236.

  • Free Tea & Coffee provided at TTF. 

  • There is a small car park located on site and ample parking along Tringford Road. 

  • Please be aware there are currently no toilet facilities at TTF. There is a Tesco near by with toilet facilities. Please make sure you take care of your business before you arrive.
