By purchasing a fishing ticket, anglers agree to abide by the rules set out below

TTF Rules and Safety Guidance

General 

  • TTF is not liable for any damage, loss or injury to any persons, or their property incurred whilst on the site, all anglers fish at their own risk.

  • All anglers over the age of 12 must have a valid Environment Agency Rod Licence, which for 12 to 16 years old are free. Licences can be obtained from the post office or online here 

  • TTF reserves the right to restrict or cancel fishing because of inclement weather or operational reasons. 

  • TTF is Fly Fishing only with barbless hooks. Micro and/or barbed hooks must have the barb squashed before use.

  • No litter, please take your litter home with you when leaving.

  • Night fishing is not permitted.

  • All children are the responsibility of the accompanying adult(s) and must be supervised at all times.

  • Swimming is not permitted at any time. 

  • Please be respectful at all times to members of the TTF team and other anglers fishing at the Fishery.

  • Any dogs must always be kept on a lead and under control. Dogs are not allowed in the water.

  • No unauthorised offensive weapons are allowed at the Fishery.

Anglers

  • TTF is a 6 catch limit facility. 

  • Anglers are allowed to keep 1 Rainbow Trout. ALL Brown Trout caught MUST be returned.

  • Landing nets need to be used when removing fish from the water. Please handle the fish appropriately, and when releasing the fish, support the fish in the water allowing plenty of time to recover.

  • Knee high wading is permitted in designated areas along the bank however beware of soft mud and general slippery conditions underfoot. Please tread lightly when entering the water.

  • When fishing from the grassy bank please be aware of the walkers along path. Watch your back cast. 

  • We ask all anglers to report their catch records (including nil returns) directly to Bob or via email.

  • TTF reserves the right to ask any angler to show all the fish, equipment, and tackle in their possession.

 

Boat

  • Boat hirer must be over 18 and ALL anglers and their guests must wear life jackets in their boats.

  • Anglers are responsible for providing their own life jackets.

  • TTF does have a limited supply of life jackets however they would need to be pre booked in advance. 

  • Anglers are responsible for providing their own landing nets. 

  • Boats are required to return before or no later than prearrange time. 

  • Boat anglers must be respectful of bank anglers and give way when necessary.

  • Please leave the boat clean, rinse the anchor of mud and take all litter home with you.
